About the Spirit of the Okanagan
The 42 foot passenger cruise boat suitably named the "Spirit of the Okanagan" was built locally by Wayne (Bones) Sealy and Trudi Clarke. Registered at 26.8 tons, she is built to Naval Architect and Coast Guard Standards for Passenger Vessels, standards far surpassing requirements for a similar vessel intended only for recreational use. All building and building materials were strictly regulated and inspected by Canada Coast Guard/DOT.

Reopened in 2002, by Lawrence Johnson and Candace Martin, ownership was passed to Carole & Richard McLean in 2008. Cruise Okanagan is one of the leading attractions in Vernon, BC. It is a "must do" if you want to experience the Okanagan. With a 32 person + 3 crew capacity, Cruise Okanagan welcomes tour buses, large groups and gatherings. Bring your guests, family and friends for some summertime fun on the Lake.

Powered by 2 Volvo Penta engines, the "Spirit of the Okanagan" leisurely cruises down through Adventure Bay, taking you on a fantastic scenic cruise past sites such as Cameron Point, Ellison Provincial Park, and Carrs Landing. Other viewing pleasures include the many majestic sailboats departing from the Vernon Yacht Club, as well as the spectacular architecture of the many lakefront homes.

You can enjoy the open air from the upper deck, either under the shade of the bimini or cozy up at a bistro table for two. While cruising the sites, you can enjoy any number of items from our on-board menu as well as your favorite drink, be it a cola or a margarita (we serve great frosty brew too!).
